QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school
- 3+ years of experience in general dentistry is preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical skills in general family dentistry procedures including:
- Operative and restorative dentistry
- Fixed and removable prosthetics
- Implant restorations
- Periodontal assessment and treatment planning
- Invisalign orthodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics are preferred, but not required
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee an exclusive patient base and develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings
- Provide comprehensive dental care, diagnosing and treating conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and oral infections
- Collaborate closely with hygienists, dental assistants, care coordinators, and specialists to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance standards
- Maintain current knowledge of dental advancements through continuing education and professional development
- Accurately document patient records, treatment notes, and clinical findings in Dentrix Ascend
- Work a part-time schedule defined as:
- Two columns for patient procedures (One prescheduled and one for emergencies/work-in appointments)
- Simultaneously completing exams for 1 hygiene columns
- Adhere to established office hours and scheduling expectations of 1-3 days per week as negotiated
